Temple Grandin in a biography written by best selling author Sy Montgomery. What I like about this book is that it shows all of the projects that I built and it has beautiful reproductions of my drawings. My mother and teachers always encouraged my ability to draw. I developed my visual thinking and observation skills in my work on cattle facility design. I hope this book inspires the quirkly kids who are different and shows them that they can succeed. The biography is written so that it can be easily read by children over the age of 9. It shows projects that I designed for feedlots and meat plants and contains two early photos that helped me learn how shadows and other visual distractions can frighten cattle.
